ALLUME Release New Video for “La Stessa Idea”
ALLUME turn album tension into visuals
Italian post-stoner quartet ALLUME have shared the official music video for ‘La Stessa Idea’, taken from their debut album “Ex Luto”, released on September 18 via Octopus Rising / Argonauta Records. Shortly after the album’s release, the band are bringing one of its central tracks back into focus with a new visual work.
‘La Stessa Idea’ was the first track ALLUME unveiled from “Ex Luto”, followed by the second pre-album single ‘Espressionismi’. The new video highlights the atmospheric side of a track built around heavy guitars, hypnotic rhythms, and steadily rising intensity.
According to the band, ‘La Stessa Idea’ occupies an important place in the album’s emotional landscape. While “Ex Luto” takes a more direct and physical approach overall, ALLUME combine heavy post-stoner structures with darker, more introspective atmospheres.
Another defining aspect of the album is the way it was recorded. Most of “Ex Luto” was recorded almost entirely live during the summer of 2024 at Villa Ridente. The material, which began taking shape during the suspended months of the pandemic, revolves around themes of loss, change, and transformation.
Compared to their previous release “O.D.E.”, ALLUME take a more direct approach both musically and lyrically on the new album. Towering guitar walls, deep psychedelic bass textures, and heavy, repetitive grooves form the backbone of a record built around the feel of a live performance and emotional tension.
“Ex Luto” was released on September 18, 2026, in deluxe colored vinyl and digital formats. The album features 10 tracks: ‘Espressionismi’, ‘Stanco’, ‘La Stessa Idea’, ‘Apparire Confuso’, ‘Più In Basso’, ‘AB +/-’, ‘Distanze’, ‘Il Panorama’, ‘Tardis’, and ‘Cosa Sembro’.
