Operating between Berlin and Istanbul, BIPOLAR ARCHITECTURE have released ‘Vanity Fair’, the first single from their third studio album, “The Worrier”, accompanied by a music video. Due out on February 19, 2027, via Pelagic Records, the album draws attention not only through a track inspired by John Bunyan’s The Pilgrim’s Progress, but also through a shift in the band’s vocal approach.

‘Vanity Fair’ explores the allegorical narrative of Bunyan’s work through the theme of condemnation. Jagged, aggressive riffs meet soaring melodies, forceful drumming and raw vocals, while the track moves between quieter passages and sharp, heavy transitions. The musical balance BIPOLAR ARCHITECTURE strike between post-metal, djent and black metal remains central to their sound on the new single.

One of the most notable changes on “The Worrier” is the expanded role of clean vocals in the songwriting. Vocalist and guitarist Sarp Keski’s harsh delivery is complemented by clean vocals from bassist Niklas Arnet and guitarist Stefanos Kaisaris. This three-way vocal approach preserves the band’s intense, raw character while making more room for melodic passages and vocal interplay.

Keski explains the thinking behind the album’s title in terms of the struggle to survive and its impact on the human psyche. The musician says that emotions such as depression, anger, empathy and sympathy shape the album’s overarching theme, adding that most of the songs draw on the band members’ personal experiences. He also explains that their aim is to connect with listeners grappling with similar feelings.

According to Keski, introducing clean vocals has also given the band’s songwriting a new direction. He says the change has allowed him to incorporate ideas into their sound that he had previously been unable to explore, while stressing that he wanted to preserve BIPOLAR ARCHITECTURE’s raw, unrestrained atmosphere.

Having toured with THE OCEAN last year, the band lean further into post-hardcore and metalcore influences on “The Worrier”, placing greater emphasis on melodic structures and memorable vocal passages. The six-track album includes ‘Untouchable’, ‘My Constant’ and ‘Boşluk’, alongside ‘Vanity Fair’.

“The Worrier” will be released on February 19, 2027, via Pelagic Records. Pre-orders are now available.
