Belgian death metal band CARNAL DESECRATION have completed preparations for their second studio album, "Ancient Malediction". Set for release through Thrash Records on October 15, 2026, the nine-track album sees the band retaining their death metal roots while pushing further into heavier and faster territory.

Hailing from Antwerp, CARNAL DESECRATION formed in 2018 when former members of the Belgian underground scene came together. While their sound is rooted in death metal, the band also incorporates black and thrash metal influences, built around aggressive riffs, sharp guitar work, and darker melodic passages.

A new chapter in CARNAL DESECRATION's discography began with their 2022 debut full-length "Sacrificial Death", following the band's self-titled three-track EP in 2020. Since then, the band have also remained active on the live circuit, sharing stages with acts including SKELETAL REMAINS, INCANTATION, ASPHYX, CARNATION, BODYFARM, and AUTOPHAGY.

With "Ancient Malediction", CARNAL DESECRATION aim to push their musical boundaries further. Recorded at BreezeInc Studio, the album emphasizes heavier and faster structures alongside sharp riffs, strong grooves, and more developed songwriting. Even so, the band remain firmly rooted in the death metal approach that defines their foundation.
