French chaotic hardcore/mathcore outfit DEAD KIWIS have released their new studio album, "EXTREME METAL", via Vollmer Industries on LP and digital formats. Having carved out their own distinct path within the French underground scene since 2008, the band adds another chapter to its discography while staying true to its aggressive and technically driven sound.

Featuring a member of Buy Jupiter, DEAD KIWIS bring together dissonant riffs, complex rhythms, razor-sharp guitar work, and intense vocal performances on "EXTREME METAL". The album explores themes of depression, grief, isolation, manipulation, and disillusionment, channeling them through an aggressive, high-energy musical framework.

The band's approach continues to fuse the unpredictable nature of chaotic hardcore with the technical intricacy of mathcore, while balancing its abrasive atmosphere with dark humor and absurdity. As a result, "EXTREME METAL" delivers a sound that is both intense and laced with irony.

Formed in the Lyon area in 2008, DEAD KIWIS initially emerged from a punk hardcore background before moving toward a more technical and chaotic direction with the release of "Karate Karnage" in 2017 and "Systematic Homerun" in 2019. Over the years, the band has also built a reputation for its energetic live performances, sharing the stage with acts such as Frontierer, Comeback Kid, and A Wilhelm Scream across France and Europe.
