Forced Entry are preparing an extensive 35th anniversary reissue campaign for their cult album As Above, So Below. Regarded as one of the defining releases in the Seattle technical thrash outfit’s catalog, the album will finally receive its long-awaited vinyl treatment decades after its original release.

Upon its arrival in 1991, As Above, So Below made a serious impact on the underground thrash scene, standing out with its fusion of aggressive riff work, progressive arrangements, and intricate technicality. While the band carved out a distinct identity within the American West Coast metal scene, the album itself gradually attained cult status over the years.

The new edition is being prepared in collaboration with M-Theory Audio. Scheduled for release on July 31, 2026, the special edition will include limited colored vinyl variants alongside a Digipak CD format. Among the collector-focused editions are a special splatter vinyl limited to 300 copies and an alternate green vinyl version restricted to just 100 units.

The reissue goes beyond physical formats alone. Newly prepared layouts for the album are being accompanied by expanded content, including fresh interviews with vocalist/bassist Tony Benjamins, archival photographs, and period memorabilia incorporated into the package.

Formed in the late 1980s, FORCED ENTRY are remembered as one of the fiercest and most complex acts to emerge from the technical thrash metal movement. Throughout their career, the band shared stages with names such as Obituary, Coroner, and Sacred Reich, while also becoming one of the key acts that helped shape the Seattle metal scene.
