Italian Southern groove metal band HELLCOWBOYS have signed with Octopus Rising / Argonauta Records and announced their new album, “Renew, Reborn, Return”. Due out on December 11, 2026, the album’s first single, ‘Ghiaccio’, has also been released today as the first track recorded by the band’s renewed lineup.

‘Ghiaccio’ offers the first glimpse of HELLCOWBOYS’ new direction, rooted in Southern groove metal, stoner metal, sludge and classic heavy metal. Driven by muscular guitar riffs, a pronounced groove and a harder-edged approach, the track introduces the band’s new era while also providing the first indications of the album’s overall character. The ‘Ghiaccio’ music video is available via the band’s official YouTube channel.

Formed in 2014, HELLCOWBOYS’ new lineup features founding member Cris “Comaante” on vocals and guitar, Warner (Rainspawn, Mamöt) on lead guitar, Steve Russian (The Core, AGAIN – AiC tribute) on drums and backing vocals, and Val (Hellbow, Fugue) on bass. The band says the lineup change has taken its musical approach to a more focused and powerful place.

“Renew, Reborn, Return” will be released on December 11, 2026, via Octopus Rising / Argonauta Records on CD and digital formats. Following the album’s release, HELLCOWBOYS will begin their live schedule with an official release party at Defrag in Rome on December 19.

Further shows in Italy include Questa è Roma, CSA Intifada in Rome on January 15, 2027, and Metropolis in Frosinone on March 12. The venue for the March 13, 2027 date has yet to be announced. More live dates will be revealed in due course.
