One of Greece’s rising heavy psych/stoner rock acts, Paranoid Reverb have announced a significant milestone in their career by joining the roster of Octopus Rising / Argonauta Records. Celebrating the new partnership, the band have also unveiled their latest single, “Red River”, now available across digital streaming platforms.

Formed in Thessaloniki in 2018, Paranoid Reverb have steadily carved out a name for themselves within the European underground scene thanks to a sound that fuses riff-driven stoner rock with dark psychedelic textures and compelling grooves. Their 2020 debut album, Billion Drops, played a key role in expanding the band’s reach and introducing them to an international audience.

Since their inception, the group have also built a strong reputation through their live performances, sharing stages with the likes of High on Fire, Unida, Dopethrone, Nightstalker and Planet of Zeus. Through appearances at numerous festivals and concert events in Greece and beyond, the band have cultivated a loyal following drawn to their powerful stage presence.

Continuing under the leadership of vocalist Manos Gotsis, Paranoid Reverb are now preparing to release their second studio album in 2026 with the support of their new label. Featuring Timos Tyflioris on bass, Petros Xevgenis and Themis Georgiadis on guitars, and Xenofon Zafiropoulos on drums, the current line-up aims to push the band’s musical boundaries even further in this new chapter.

Serving as the first preview of the forthcoming album, “Red River” retains the band’s signature heavy psych and stoner rock foundations while offering a glimpse into the direction they intend to pursue moving forward. The track stands as an intriguing introduction, both for longtime followers of Paranoid Reverb and for enthusiasts of the genre eager to discover what comes next.
