New York-based classic rock and hard rock band TEN TON MOJO have released their new single, ‘Broken Down Blues’, accompanied by an official music video. The track focuses on the everyday struggles of America’s working class, portraying blue-collar workers who work hard to make ends meet but receive little recognition for their efforts.

Vocalist Dave Anthony noted that the single marks the band’s first recording with drummer Jeff Hardee. Speaking about the track, Anthony said, “Some things are worth the wait... and so it is with our newest single, ‘Broken Down Blues’, because it’s an absolute solid hit right out of the gate.” According to Anthony, Hardee’s arrival has made the band musically stronger than ever.

Production, mixing and mastering for ‘Broken Down Blues’ were handled by Max Norman, whose credits include work with Ozzy Osbourne, MEGADETH and BAD COMPANY. Devon Marie and La Jeca contribute guest backing vocals, while the artwork and photography are credited to Phil Yarnall / SMAY DESIGN.

TEN TON MOJO are also working on new singles and additional tracks slated for release throughout 2027. While preparations for these recordings continue, the band remain active on the live circuit in and around New York.

TEN TON MOJO’s lineup features Dave Anthony (vocals), Scott Lano (guitar), Christian Realmuto (guitar), Kenny Madden (bass, vocals) and Jeff Hardee (drums). Their sound combines blues-inflected Southern rock with classic rock and hard rock.
