Swedish blackened sludge metal band THIS GIFT IS A CURSE will embark on a European and UK tour with DRAGGED INTO SUNLIGHT and MIZMOR in May 2027. Kicking off in Vienna on 5 May and wrapping up in Liverpool on 23 May, the run comprises 19 shows across nine countries.

Formed in Stockholm in 2008, the band’s sound draws on blackened sludge metal and hardcore roots, while gradually incorporating elements of post-metal and drone. THIS GIFT IS A CURSE have developed their live repertoire through extensive gigging, particularly across Scandinavia. The band toured with CULT OF LUNA in 2019 and also appeared as special guests at GAEREA’s Stockholm show in April 2025. The May 2027 run will take them across a wider stretch of Europe.
