German synthpop trio ALIENARE have announced their sixth studio album, "WE COME IN PEACE", due out on January 29, 2027 via NoCut, with the release of its first single, ‘This Is Not The End’. The album’s first track also points to the band’s more rock-oriented approach in this new phase.

‘This Is Not The End’ explores the possibility of reaching an end and looking back on the choices one might have made differently. The track brings together the contrast between an end that comes as a relief and an ordeal with no end in sight, balancing its driving energy with darker, more reflective passages. At its core is the desire for a particular moment not to be over just yet.

A new music video accompanies the track. Through ‘This Is Not The End’, ALIENARE address personal endings and transience while introducing the ideas that the band expands into a broader framework across the new album.

The album "WE COME IN PEACE" focuses on conflict and alienation, as well as transience, longing for distant places, and humanity’s place in the universe. According to the band, its title carries a simple and direct message in response to an increasingly restless world. The album’s narrative looks beyond the conflicts of everyday life, questioning humanity’s place in the universe and the unknown that lies beyond Earth.

Musically, ALIENARE retain the Dark-Wave foundation they have established to date while bringing their rock influences further to the fore. Straightforward synth melodies, dark and melancholic vocal lines, and driving rhythms are joined by a stronger presence of rock guitars and drums. According to the band, this shift gives the songs a more angular, varied, and unpredictable character.

Ingo Hampf, known for his work with Subway to Sally, is also involved in the album’s production. His contribution forms part of the band’s effort to expand the sonic world of the new record. ALIENARE also state that "WE COME IN PEACE" has had the longest development period of any of their albums so far, allowing the songs to evolve and change throughout the process.

"WE COME IN PEACE" will be released on January 29, 2027 in CD Digipak and Neon Green Splatter Vinyl formats, alongside a Green Liquid Vinyl edition limited to 100 copies and available exclusively through the NoCut shop. A limited Fanbox, restricted to 300 copies, will include the album alongside a signed card, a UV-light pen and matching notebook, a UFO-themed metal bottle opener, a glow-in-the-dark sticker, and a patch.
