AODON Unveil First Track from “Khamsin”

French black metal band AODON have shared a new track from their fourth studio album, “Khamsin”, due out on November 27, 2026, via Transcending Obscurity Records. The track premiered on No Clean Singing.

The newly unveiled track reflects AODON’s approach of combining melodic guitar work with an intense, atmospheric black metal sound. Built around soaring guitar melodies and dynamic compositions, the music moves between harsher passages and more melancholic, melodic sections. The song’s shifting structure also offers a glimpse into the musical direction the band have taken on their forthcoming album.

“Khamsin” expands on the black metal sound AODON have developed over the years, incorporating atmospheric, melodic and melancholic elements. The album’s compositions unfold through shifting emotional dynamics and evolving structures. Rather than relying on a uniform musical approach, the band aim to give each track its own distinct contribution to the album as a whole.

Among those contributing to the album’s musical and visual identity is Alex Eckman-Lawn of REPLICANT, who handled the artwork. All music and screams on AODON’s recordings are handled by M-Kha, while the lyrics are written by Alix.R.
