Graspop Metal Meeting has added EVANESCENCE to the headliner lineup for its 2027 edition, which will celebrate the festival’s 30th anniversary. Led by Amy Lee, the American band will return to Dessel ten years after their first appearance at the festival, closing the South Stage on Friday, 18 June. FAITH NO MORE will headline the North Stage on the same day.

With songs such as ‘Bring Me to Life’, ‘My Immortal’ and ‘Going Under’, EVANESCENCE reached a wide audience and established a firm foothold in the alternative rock and metal scene with their 2003 album “Fallen”, which brought together heavy guitars, piano melodies and Amy Lee’s distinctive vocals. The band continued to develop this musical approach on subsequent releases, including “The Open Door” and “The Bitter Truth”.

The 2027 appearance will mark EVANESCENCE’s second performance at the festival. The band first played at Graspop Metal Meeting ten years ago and returned to Belgium last September for a show at Forest National. This time, their setlist is expected to feature new material from “Sanctuary”, their sixth studio album, released earlier this year. Familiar favourites such as ‘Bring Me to Life’, ‘My Immortal’ and ‘Going Under’ are also set to be among the highlights.

The 30th-anniversary edition of Graspop Metal Meeting will take place in Dessel, Belgium, from 17 to 20 June 2027, featuring four days of music across five stages.
