German metalcore band ENEMY INSIDE have released the official music video for their new single ‘Rag Doll’. Featuring guest appearances by AS EVERYTHING UNFOLDS vocalist Charlie Rolfe and LAKE MALICE vocalist Alice Guala, the track brings the musical approaches of all three bands together and serves as another preview of ENEMY INSIDE’s upcoming album “R.I.P.”, due out on January 15, 2027, via Reigning Phoenix Music.

Exploring the themes of breaking free from manipulation and reclaiming control over one’s identity, ‘Rag Doll’ combines pop-driven melodies with hard-hitting riffs and aggressive vocal passages. Charlie Rolfe and Alice Guala’s contributions further broaden the track’s vocal range. The collaboration ties into the album’s wider narrative not only through the involvement of three female-fronted metalcore bands, but also through its focus on personal struggle.

The band describes the song’s central idea as the story of someone reclaiming their voice, identity and strength after being subjected to another person’s control. ENEMY INSIDE commented on the meaning behind ‘Rag Doll’:

“‘Rag Doll’ tells the story of breaking free from someone who only loved the version of you they could control. It’s about reclaiming your voice, your identity and your strength after being treated as something disposable.”

Produced by Jonas Sommer, the accompanying video supports the song’s themes through its dark visual atmosphere and performance footage.

“R.I.P.”, meanwhile, is not simply an album centred on the idea of death. ENEMY INSIDE place the emphasis on leaving behind former versions of ourselves shaped by fear, guilt, manipulation and loss. Addressing a range of emotional states, including anger, revenge, desire, grief, self-doubt and acceptance, the record explores the conflicting aspects of the healing process.

The band’s fourth studio album also features guest contributions from members of FROM FALL TO SPRING, AS EVERYTHING UNFOLDS and LAKE MALICE. With “R.I.P.”, ENEMY INSIDE aim to push their musical boundaries further through heavier guitar riffs, more aggressive screams, rap-driven passages and bigger choruses.

Set for release on January 15, 2027, via Reigning Phoenix Music, “R.I.P.” will contain 12 tracks. ‘All I Am’ will be available exclusively on physical formats.

ENEMY INSIDE were formed in 2017 in Aschaffenburg, Germany, by vocalist Nastassja Giulia and guitarist Evan K. Following “Phoenix” (2018), “Seven” (2021) and “Venom” (2025), “R.I.P.” will mark the next chapter in the band’s blend of metalcore and alternative metal.

Following the album’s release, the band will embark on a European tour in 2027, with HALFLIVES as special guests and MAZ UNIVERZE providing support.
