ÄXE’s New Demo: “Autogeddon” Arrives July 17
UK-based extreme metal/punk outfit ÄXE returns to the underground scene with its second demo, Autogeddon. Scheduled for release on July 17, the recording will be issued in cassette format via Caligari Records.

Fueled by the dark and abrasive vein of London’s musical underground, the band made a strong impact in underground circles at the beginning of 2025 with their first demo, Warriors of the Death Raid. Quickly establishing their name through intense live performances, the group went on to build a notable stage history by supporting acts such as Antediluvian and Ceremonial Bloodbath during their European tour. More recently, they further solidified their presence by appearing at major events like London’s Incineration Festival.
The new demo Autogeddon is described as a 34-minute surge of unrelenting sonic violence. The recording reportedly features no artificial editing, no click tracks, and no sterile production approaches; instead, it embraces a raw, fast, and aggressively unpolished sonic aesthetic. Blending black metal, speed punk, and hardcore influences into a single volatile mass, the release moves along a path that evokes the spirit of names such as G.I.S.M., Aura Noir, Deathside, Zemial, and Sacrileğe.
On the production side, the recording is handled by Am, a seasoned figure from the Grave Miasma circle. Having previously worked with projects such as Ofermod, Necromaniac, and Final Dose, Am oversees mixing and mastering duties with an approach that preserves the raw, unfiltered character of the sound.
A track from Autogeddon has already been made available on digital platforms, and the demo is also open for preorder via Bandcamp. It is shaping up to be one of the standout cassette releases in the underground extreme music scene this year.
