US death/doom metal band BESOTTEN have released a new song from their debut studio album, which they have been working on for several years. Following the previously released track, the new offering continues the five-track album's heavy and dark musical approach.

The new track premiered via No Clean Singing. You can find the song's premiere here.

BESOTTEN previously released a demo and a split. The five songs prepared for the debut full-length include both shorter pieces and compositions exceeding 10 minutes. The band brings together elements of death metal and doom metal in a balanced manner, giving each track its own character while maintaining a cohesive overall structure across the album.

The album's production also involves several names known from the death metal scene. Leon Del Muerte, known for his work with IMPALED and TERRORIZER, handled mixing, mastering, and guitar/vocal engineering, while drum engineering was entrusted to Charlie Koryn, who has worked with VOIDCEREMONY, ASCENDED DEAD, and MORBID ANGEL in a live capacity. The album's visual identity was created by Serus, associated with CANCER VOID.

The band's lineup features Andy Osborn on drums, Patrick Sinn-Movilla on guitars and synths, and Garth Purkett on vocals and bass.

The album's tracklist is as follows:

  1. ‘Mist of Decay’

  2. ‘Bathed in Insufferable Light’

  3. ‘Cruentation’

  4. ‘Storming the Cerebral Citadel’

  5. ‘Bloodcairn’

Genre: Death/Doom Metal

A release date for BESOTTEN's debut album has not been provided in the source.
