Belgian black metal band BOKKERIJDERS have released their new track ‘Calcination Pyre’ from their debut full-length, “Crush Kill Destroy”, prepared in memory of guitarist Wouter Lemmens, who passed away in September 2025. The album is set for international release on October 23 via Personal Records.

The new track is the second song unveiled from the band’s debut album. ‘Calcination Pyre’ premiered via NoCleanSinging.com, and the full track can be heard here.

Formed in 2021, BOKKERIJDERS followed their debut demo the following year with the 2023 EP “Silver Dust and Swords of Gold”. Rather than placing their music within a specific black metal subgenre, the band draws from a range of sources including Aura Noir, Slayer, and Turbonegro under the same broader understanding of metal.

That approach continues on “Crush Kill Destroy”. The album’s production retains a raw and sharp character while also bringing out the details of the instrumentation. The band moves through short, straightforward compositions built around dense riffing, economical yet distinctive solo sections, and high-tempo transitions. The album’s musical framework also contains older, crust-influenced layers.

The album’s real weight for the band, however, comes from the fact that it is their final release following the death of guitarist Wouter Lemmens in September 2025. As BOKKERIJDERS now continue as a power trio, “Crush Kill Destroy” will occupy a distinct place in their discography as the final recording featuring Lemmens.
