Swedish death metal outfit CRYPTORIUM have announced their second studio album, “Through the Bowels of Ceaseless Dissonance”, set for release on October 30, 2026. Alongside the announcement, the band have also unveiled the official music video for the album’s title track.

After making an impression with their debut album, “Descent into Lunacy”, CRYPTORIUM aim to push their take on classic Swedish death metal further with stronger songwriting and a more refined production on the new record. While drawing inspiration from genre pioneers such as Dismember, Entombed, Carnage, and Grave, the album is also said to highlight the band’s own filthy, rotten sonic identity.

Steering clear of the modern death metal approach that places greater emphasis on melody, the band instead embraces a rawer, harsher, and more direct sound. The new album is also presented as a more ambitious step forward than its predecessor, both in terms of production and visual identity.

“Through the Bowels of Ceaseless Dissonance” features ten tracks and is accompanied by cover artwork created by Slimeweaver (Retching).
