Filipino black metal and war metal band DEIPHAGO have begun preparations for their sixth studio album, "Hexessence Satan". The band will enter Sonic Train Studios in Sweden next month to begin recording the long-awaited new release.

The album’s production, recording, mixing, and mastering will be handled by Andy LaRocque. With their upcoming work, DEIPHAGO will further expand upon the path established with their 2019 album "I, The Devil", continuing their experimental approach that pushes the boundaries of black metal and war metal.

The band’s current lineup consists of guitarist Sidapa, drummer E. Mejia, and Voltaire handling bass and vocals.

DEIPHAGO describe the concept behind "Hexessence Satan" as a work centered on the final stage of existential dissolution. At the core of the album lies a Satanic concept defined by the band as the “sixth and final essence,” exploring themes of chaos, annihilation, and absolute transformation.

"Hexessence Satan" will be released as part of DEIPHAGO’s ongoing collaboration with Hells Headbangers. Further details, including the album’s release date, will be announced in due time.
