DESERTFEST BERLIN has announced a second wave of bands for its 2027 edition, taking place in Berlin from May 14–16, adding BRUTUS, KYLESA, WINDHAND, THE WELL and 1000MODS to the bill. COLOUR HAZE, RICKSHAW BILLIE’S BURGER PATROL, KANAAN and PSYCHLONA are also among the newly announced acts. Blind Bird tickets for the festival have already sold out.

One of the standout details of the latest announcement is the return of Belgian trio BRUTUS to the stage in 2027. With US acts KYLESA, WINDHAND and THE WELL also joining the bill, the lineup brings together different approaches to stoner metal, doom, sludge and psychedelic rock. Greece’s 1000MODS and Germany’s COLOUR HAZE are among the other additions.

The new names join a lineup that already includes MELVINS, A PLACE TO BURY STRANGERS, HÄLLAS, BONGRIPPER and SMOKE BLOW. The festival has confirmed that further band announcements are expected in the coming weeks.

Taking place from May 14–16, 2027, at Columbiahalle, Columbia Theater and the outdoor stage, DESERTFEST BERLIN saw tickets sell out completely for two of its three festival days in 2026. With the Blind Bird tickets for 2027 also gone, demand for the next edition is already building.

The currently announced lineup also features VILLAGERS OF IOANNINA CITY, GNOME, INTER ARMA, PRIMITIVE RING, THE SPOOKY EYES, CARDIEL, PINK FUZZ, SPECK and VINNUM SABBATHI. Further additions are expected over the coming weeks.
