Madrid-based stoner doom trio ELECTRIC VALLEY released their new album “Echo” on November 6. Issued through Small Stone Recordings, the seven-track record highlights the band’s approach to combining psychedelic textures with progressive passages. The full album was made available for streaming ahead of its official release date.

Unlike the band’s previous recordings, “Echo” was captured live in a single take in the studio. Recorded by Javier Ortiz at Estudio Brazil in Madrid, the sessions aim to capture the unfiltered sound of ELECTRIC VALLEY’s three-piece lineup in a direct performance. Charlie Sánchez handled the album’s mix, while Chris Gossman of Baseline Audio Labs in Ann Arbor, Michigan, took care of mastering.

On their latest release, ELECTRIC VALLEY bring grunge-infused stoner rock together with psychedelic textures and progressive transitions. Shaped around themes of space travel and galactic exploration, the album draws inspiration from vast desert landscapes, classic science fiction, B-movies and vintage comic books.

ELECTRIC VALLEY was formed in 2014 by Mario García (guitar), Charlie Sánchez (drums) and Miky Simón (bass, vocals). The band’s discography to date comprises “51973” (2014), “Multiverse” (2015), “Two Realities At War” (2017), “Tapes From The Galactic Tavern” (2021) and “Live At Stone Giant” (2024). Having shared the stage with bands such as Yawning Man, GREEN LEAF, DEAD MEADOW, SASQUATCH, ASTEROID, STONED JESUS and THE MACHINE, the trio continues its studio work with “Echo”.

The album is available through Small Stone Recordings on CD and digitally, as well as on a limited vinyl pressing produced in collaboration with Kozmik Artifactz and pressed in Germany.
