Italian post-metal band RISE ABOVE DEAD have released a new single, ‘Voices Fade Away’, ahead of their upcoming album “Voidmass”, due out on November 27, 2026, via Argonauta Records. The track, which appears third on the album, highlights the band’s current direction, placing greater emphasis on vocals and emotional intensity.

‘Voices Fade Away’ retains RISE ABOVE DEAD’s post-metal identity while bringing atmospheric passages together with heavy guitar dynamics. The idea of voices, memories and certainties gradually fading away, reflected in the track’s title, is echoed in its dark atmosphere. Its measured progression is balanced by surges of intensity in places.

Comprising six tracks, “Voidmass” takes shape somewhere between atmospheric sludge, dissonant heaviness and dark cinematic soundscapes. While preserving the expansive atmospheres and weighty dynamics that have characterised the band’s previous work, the album points towards an approach that gives vocals a more prominent role.

The album’s closing track, ‘Through Zenith’, features a guest contribution from Emtu. This collaboration stands out as the album’s only track to feature a guest musician.

RISE ABOVE DEAD’s “Voidmass” will be released on November 27, 2026, via Argonauta Records on CD and digital formats. Following the previously released ‘Drowning Slowly’, ‘Voices Fade Away’ is the second single to be unveiled from the album.
