Two longstanding names from the Norwegian underground black metal scene, Enevelde and Gjendød, are preparing to unveil their collaborative effort, Elegier fra avgrunnen. Set for release via Terratur Possessions, the split album stands out as a special project with international distribution handled by Amor Fati Productions.

Comprised of eight tracks in total, the album features four new compositions from each band. Drawing from the dark atmosphere that shaped the essence of Norwegian black metal throughout the 1990s, the release revolves around themes of nature, folklore, mysticism, and darkness. Steering clear of the sterile tendencies of modern production, the album delivers a sound firmly rooted in the genre’s foundations.

Enevelde and Gjendød continue the consistent artistic path they have maintained within the underground scene for years through this collaborative project.
