GRIT! Pushes Brutal Boundaries With Debut Recording
GRIT! Unleashes Brutality
French brutal death grind outfit GRIT! has released its first studio recording on digital platforms. Titled “So Far So Good,” the release reinterprets the harsh and aggressive grindcore influences of the 2000s through a modern production approach.
Comprising 15 tracks, the album was recorded at Studio Macrocosme in France’s Touraine region, with mastering completed by ODN Mastering. Through this debut effort, GRIT! presents a sound that combines the sheer intensity of brutal death metal with grindcore’s short, razor-sharp, and chaotic structures.
The band’s lineup features two experienced musicians. Julien, handling drums, guitars, and bass, has previously been involved with HAPPYFACE and FINAL SHODOWN, while vocalist Gil stands out with his background in extreme metal projects including HAPPYFACE, NECROPSY, and PULMONARY FIBROSIS.
“So Far So Good” marks the first step in defining GRIT!’s musical identity, offering fans of brutal death grind a fast-paced and aggressive listening experience.
