Italian Southern groove metal outfit HELLCOWBOYS have released ‘Your Fear’, the second single from their upcoming third full-length album, “Renew, Reborn, Return”, due out on December 11, 2026, via Octopus Rising / Argonauta Records. Following the earlier release of ‘Ghiaccio’, the new track ties the darker themes explored in the band’s current musical direction into the album’s broader narrative.

‘Your Fear’ deals with the anxieties, phobias and emotional fractures becoming increasingly prevalent in contemporary society. At the heart of the new album is a world shaped by appearances, disposable relationships and emotional detachment, where people are losing their connections both with themselves and with those around them. Through a series of interconnected songs, the record explores the search for a way out of this state of alienation and apathy.

The opening part of this narrative unfolds through ‘Ghiaccio’, ‘Lost World’ and ‘Your Normality’, which portray a society where genuine relationships are gradually fading and the perception of reality is becoming distorted. While ‘No Longer’ and ‘Your Fear’ focus on emotional numbness and the anxieties that come with it, ‘Don't Lie’ addresses the wounds inflicted by others. The story then moves towards ‘Reborn’, which rekindles the desire to dream again and find a renewed sense of purpose, before ‘Return’ brings the album’s narrative to a close with a search for liberation from sadness and fear.

Musically, HELLCOWBOYS combine elements of Southern groove metal, stoner metal, sludge and heavy metal, building “Renew, Reborn, Return” around hefty riffs and hard-hitting rhythms.

Recorded between January and May 2026 at Digital Vintage Studios in Rome, the album was produced by Cris “Comaante” Iacovazzo and the band. Its artwork follows the record’s thematic direction with a black-and-white illustration inspired by vintage tarot decks. Intricate linework, dramatic chiaroscuro lighting and distressed textures give the image a dark atmosphere.

“Renew, Reborn, Return” features ten tracks and will be released on CD and digital formats on December 11, 2026. The album closes with an acoustic version of ‘Your Fear’.
