KLAÏTON Release Their First Music Video
Technical, brutal death metal with direct songwriting.
Dutch-Belgian death metal band KLAÏTON released their first-ever music video for 'From Blood to Muscle to Bone', the lead single from their second EP, "A Celebration of Pain", on November 4, 2026, the same day the EP arrived. Featuring former members of POLLUTED INHERITANCE and BURIAL, the band also maintained full artistic control over the video's production and editing.
Marking KLAÏTON's first music video to date, the clip accompanies 'From Blood to Muscle to Bone'. Production and editing were handled by Ronald Camonier and KLAÏTON in October 2026.
With their new EP, the band aims to develop the musical approach established on their debut release, "Behind the Ritual", which came out in October 2024. This time, however, rather than creating a direct continuation of their previous EP, they have focused primarily on new compositions.
According to KLAÏTON, "A Celebration of Pain" combines short, straight-to-the-point compositions with a distinct technical foundation. These technical details are not necessarily apparent on first listen but are intended to reveal themselves with repeated spins. The band describes its musical approach as built around a sound that is both memorable and heavy and brutal.
'From Blood to Muscle to Bone' stands as the first example of this approach on the EP. The band also notes that the track captures the energetic character of their live performances. Its lyrics explore themes of exploitation, oppression, corruption, despair and violence.
"A Celebration of Pain" is available on all digital music platforms as of November 4, 2026. Those interested in obtaining a physical copy of the EP can follow the band's Bandcamp page.
Recording and production took place in spring 2026, with Ronald Camonier handling both. Mixing and mastering were completed by Floor van Kuijck at GLDCHN-studios.
