NATIVE CONSTRUCT to Perform “Quiet World” in Full at ProgStorm Festival 2027
NATIVE CONSTRUCT bring “Quiet World” back.
NATIVE CONSTRUCT, the progressive metal band formed in Boston by students at Berklee College of Music, is preparing to return to the stage after an extended absence, with a performance at ProgStorm Festival in Montréal on August 20–22, 2027. The band will perform its 2015 debut and only album, “Quiet World”, in its entirety.
Released in April 2015 through Metal Blade Records, “Quiet World” holds a special place in the band’s discography for its combination of theatrical storytelling, jazz and classical music influences, and hard-hitting progressive metal passages. NATIVE CONSTRUCT’s appearance at the festival will give both listeners who discovered the album upon its release and those who came across the band’s music during its lengthy absence from the stage an opportunity to hear this material performed live.
NATIVE CONSTRUCT was formed in 2011 by musicians studying at Berklee College of Music. Early in their career, the band shared stages with BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME, ENSLAVED, INTRONAUT, MANDROID ECHOSTAR, and AURAS before retreating into an extended period of silence following the release of “Quiet World”. Their ProgStorm appearance will mark their return to the stage with a special performance dedicated to the album in its entirety.

NATIVE CONSTRUCT are the first band announced for ProgStorm Festival 2027. The remaining 17 acts on the festival’s 18-band bill will be revealed in the coming weeks. Organizers Jici Lord-Gauthier and Eddy Levitsky say next year’s event will also feature bands making their North American debuts, acts returning to Montréal after a long absence, and reunited projects.
Festival founder and organizer Jici Lord-Gauthier says the aim is to bring together bands from different continents and give audiences the chance to see artists they would rarely have the opportunity to catch live. The third edition of ProgStorm will take place August 20–22, 2027, at Club Soda in Montréal.
