The India- and Canada-linked extreme music outfit NIRRITI is preparing to unveil its long-awaited debut full-length album, Dhrupad Anutpada (ধ্রুপদ অনুৎপাদ): Apophatic Ragas Of Non-Origination. The record will be released on June 19 via Iron Bonehead Productions in both CD and vinyl formats.

Having remained silent for nearly six years following their first EP, Asuryasparsha, the collective pushes its dark and experimental vision even further with this new work. Taking black metal, noise, and grindcore influences beyond conventional boundaries, the band crafts a highly unusual atmosphere by merging philosophical and spiritual themes with a dense wall of sound.

While drumming duties on the album are handled by Axaazaroth of the Canadian extreme metal act Nuclearhammer, NIRRITI's three-piece lineup stands out through a songwriting approach that is both chaotic and deliberate. As a whole, the album delivers an intense listening experience where primitive black metal aggression, layers of experimental noise, and ritualistic textures intertwine.

Shortly before its international release date, the album has been made available in its entirety via the No Gleaming Light YouTube channel. The cover artwork bears the signature of Orryelle Bascule Defenestrate, renowned for his surreal and esoteric creations.

Consisting of six tracks in total, Dhrupad Anutpada emerges as the band's most expansive work to date following their lengthy absence, while also shaping up to be one of the year's most noteworthy releases for listeners drawn to experimental black metal and the outer reaches of extreme music.
