NORDJEVEL Signs with Season of Mist and Announces 2027 European Tour

Norwegian black metal band NORDJEVEL has announced its signing with Season of Mist’s Underground Activists imprint. The band has also revealed its European “Incantation Tour” for 2027.
Founded in 2015 by vocalist and lyricist Doedsadmiral, NORDJEVEL has shaped the Norwegian black metal tradition into a darker and more aggressive form since its inception. The band’s early lineup featured musicians from established Scandinavian metal acts such as MARDUK and RAGNAROK.
NORDJEVEL’s musical direction underwent a significant shift following the arrival of guitarist Destructhor (ex-MORBID ANGEL, MYRKSKOG, ZYKLON) in 2018. The melodic and folk-influenced black metal approach heard on the band’s self-titled 2016 debut evolved into a denser, harsher sound with stronger death metal influences on subsequent releases. This transformation became particularly evident on the albums "Necrogenesis" (2019) and "Gnavhòl" (2022).
The lyrics written by Doedsadmiral combine the band’s core themes — including war, death, anti-Christianity, Norse mythology and esoteric darkness — with the landscapes and historical background of Norway.
NORDJEVEL’s “Incantation Tour 2027” will take place between March 24 and April 4, 2027. Covering Poland, Germany, Belgium, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Switzerland and France, the tour will feature support from SVARTTJERN, MALPHAS and UNVIÂR.
The band has previously performed at major metal festivals including Inferno, Wacken Open Air, Hellfest, Bloodstock, Maryland Deathfest and Brutal Assault. Following their European tour with AETERNUS in early 2026, NORDJEVEL continues working on the next chapter of its career.
New music from the band is expected to be revealed in the near future.
