ORBSTRUCT Marks Its Tenth Anniversary with Concert Film
A Decade Celebrated
ORBSTRUCT have released "A Decade of Transcendence", a concert film created to celebrate the band's tenth anniversary. Recorded in Kraków, Poland, the film captures a nine-song live performance featuring material selected from the band's three full-length albums.
Following the release of their third studio album, "Ostracism," last year, the band now looks back on a decade of its musical journey through this live production. The setlist draws from different stages of ORBSTRUCT's artistic evolution, showcasing songs that reflect the band's progression over the years.
More than simply an anniversary release, "A Decade of Transcendence" also highlights the themes that have long defined the band's creative identity. Concepts such as critical thinking, personal growth, and questioning imposed perceptions of reality—central to ORBSTRUCT's lyricism—form the foundation of the concert film. Throughout its songs, the band continues to portray the hardships that accompany inner transformation as a natural consequence of pursuing truth.
The past decade has been shaped not only by the band's musical output but also by major events including the pandemic, war, being forced to leave their hometown on the front line, lineup changes, and the process of rebuilding from the ground up. According to ORBSTRUCT, rather than altering the band's creative philosophy, these experiences reinforced the artistic principles that have guided it since its formation.
Recorded in Kraków, the concert brings together ORBSTRUCT's past and present on a single stage. Rather than viewing the film as a retrospective of its career, the band sees it as another step forward in an ongoing journey.
