Portuguese atmospheric post-metal/sludge trio PALEGAZER have announced their signing to Octopus Rising / Argonauta Records. Marking the occasion, the band have also released their debut single, 'Imminence', across all digital streaming platforms.

Hailing from Porto, the trio draw attention with compositions that merge the expansive atmosphere of post-metal with the crushing weight of sludge and doom metal. Their sound is defined by the interplay between clean vocals and harsh vocal passages, layered guitar textures, and dense, heavy riffing.

PALEGAZER's debut single, 'Imminence', stands as a strong introduction to the band's musical identity. Beginning with calm, hypnotic passages before gradually building in intensity, the track reflects the group's dynamic songwriting approach while combining atmospheric storytelling with crushing, heavy sections.
