One of the harsher names to emerge from the Romanian underground, Ruyned have unleashed the title track from their forthcoming second full-length, Profanum Sacrificium. Blending black, thrash, and speed metal with a violently aggressive edge, the band promise a dark and savage atmosphere with the upcoming record.

Set for release on June 26th via Osmose Productions, the album is already being described as the band’s most intense and merciless work to date. Ruyned’s new track, “Profanum Sacrificium,” immediately showcases the band’s chaotic riffing approach and filthy speed metal character, while offering strong hints at the overall spirit of the record.

The album’s first half is shaped by high-velocity speed/thrash assaults. Tracks such as “Speedchain,” “Sex’n Speed,” and “Sex Commander 666” channel an unrestrained energy, while “Orgasm Through Death” stands out as one of the record’s darkest moments. The band also draws from true crime narratives, as reflected in the “Vampire of Düsseldorf” theme.

As the record progresses, the atmosphere grows increasingly grim. Particularly in the album’s second half, a conceptual structure inspired by the European witch hunts comes to the forefront. Songs like “Malleus Maleficarum” and “Witches Gallöw” explore themes of ritual, mysticism, and death through an oppressive black metal darkness.

With Profanum Sacrificium, Ruyned appear poised to deliver one of the underground scene’s most striking releases, merging old-school speed metal savagery with a venomous black/thrash aesthetic.
