Polish metalcore band SERPENTS have released their new single ‘Painkiller’. The Szczecin-based five-piece have also entered a new chapter in their career by signing with Berlin-based record label Out Of Line Music.

Formed at the end of 2023, SERPENTS have been drawing attention with their modern sound that combines metalcore, alternative metal, and electronic elements. Following their early singles ‘Tangled’, ‘Self-made Suffering’, and ‘Hourglass’, the band further shaped their musical identity with the 2024 releases ‘The Void’, ‘Walking Disaster’, and ‘The Signal’.

The new single ‘Painkiller’ highlights the band’s ability to balance aggressive riffing with melodic passages. The track combines hard-hitting breakdowns, dynamic rhythms, and anthemic chorus structures, while the interplay between aggressive and melodic vocals forms a key part of its overall character.

Since their formation, SERPENTS have also been building their presence within the European metal scene through their live performances. After touring Poland with The Materia, the band joined Ektomorf’s 23-date European tour in 2024. In early 2026, they also performed as the opening act for shows featuring New York-based artist Keith Caputo.
