THE MON, the ambient and experimental solo project of Italian musician Urlo, has made its new live album, Live At Kadoc, available as a free release. Alongside the record, a live performance video for the album track “Incantation” has also been unveiled.

Best known as the bassist and vocalist of Ufomammut, Urlo has recently been promoting the Embrace The Abandon series released under the THE MON banner. Comprised of the albums Songs Of Abandon and Songs Of Embrace, this conceptual work presents a narrative shaped around opposing emotional states such as loss, surrender, acceptance, and rebirth.

Live At Kadoc was recorded during a performance held on April 2, 2026, at the historic Chapel of Our Lady of Fever in Leuven, Belgium. Sharing the stage with Kariti as part of a spring tour, THE MON delivered an intensely atmospheric experience, merging guitar, vocals, and electronic elements with the venue’s natural acoustics.

More than simply a live recording, the album incorporates the character of the performance space itself as an inseparable component of its sonic identity. The recordings were captured by Stefano Tocci, while mixing and mastering duties were completed by Urlo at The Howl studio in Italy.

In a statement, Urlo expressed his gratitude to the teams at Hedera Music Agency and Orange Factory for helping make the event possible, while also offering special thanks to Kariti for sharing the road during the tour.

Currently available via Bandcamp, Live At Kadoc will also be released on other digital platforms within a week. Featuring a total of eleven live tracks, the album stands as a distinctive document of THE MON’s recent creative vision brought to life on stage.
