El Salvadoran extreme metal band WITCHGÖAT have unveiled ‘Storming the Walls of Eternity’, the second track to be revealed from their upcoming third full-length album, “Serpent Hordes”. The song premiered via NoCleanSinging.com.

Founded by guitarist P. Scyther in 2016, WITCHGÖAT are approaching their 10th anniversary with an album that brings together the musical elements they have developed throughout their career. Following the more pronounced black metal direction of 2023's “Altars of Necromancy”, the band have opted to revisit and combine different aspects of their earlier material.

The approach began taking shape in 2024, with a renewed focus on developing their guitar work and incorporating stronger traditional speed metal influences into their compositions. WITCHGÖAT's current sound brings together the South American and European thrash metal traditions of the '80s with elements of Scandinavian black metal and blackened death metal. Their stated influences include SWORDMASTER, DISSECTION, LORD BELIAL, CROWN OF THORNS, CARDINAL SIN and RAISE HELL. The thrash metal approach of KREATOR's “Pleasure to Kill” era is another key component of this combination.
