Boston metal outfit BOARZOY have shared another track ahead of the release of their upcoming album, The Great Fires. Serving as the second single from the record, “Your New Hands” offers a glimpse into the band’s next chapter.

Built upon dense riff structures bolstered by psychedelic textures, the song explores the inevitable passage of time and the hardships that accompany growing older. While retaining BOARZOY’s trademark heaviness, the track also showcases the band’s ability to merge a groove-driven, weighty metal approach with modern sensibilities.

Set for release on June 12, The Great Fires stands out as the group’s most ambitious work in recent years. Continuing the promotional campaign leading up to the album, BOARZOY previously unveiled the official music video for “Agency (Is Necessary).” With the arrival of the new single, anticipation surrounding the album appears to be growing even further.

Drawing attention with their self-styled “Boar Metal” identity, the band blends harsh, raw metal elements with a variety of musical influences. Known in particular for their energetic live performances, BOARZOY are preparing for the next phase of their career and plan to relocate to New York later this year in an effort to expand their reach to a broader audience.

Featuring Riley Senne on bass, Taylor Winterhalder on drums, Rennie Boyd on vocals, and Jake Sklodowski on guitar, BOARZOY aim to continue their upward trajectory with the release of their new album.
