Italian quartet BOSCO SACRO will release their second studio album, “Inhabit”, on November 6 via Supernatural Cat Records. The album’s first preview arrives with a video for its opening and title track, ‘Inhabit’, created by Michele Canevari.

Formed in 2020 by Paolo Monti, Giulia Parin Zecchin, Luca Scotti, and Francesco Vara, BOSCO SACRO shape their music around nature’s transformative power, bringing together elements of ambient, doom, slowcore, dreamgaze, and trip-hop. “Inhabit” takes a different approach from the band’s previous work: its eight tracks were composed entirely live in the rehearsal room, while the recording process was completed in just seven days.

This method has resulted in a rawer recording character centered on BOSCO SACRO’s collective performance. The album was produced by Lorenzo Stecconi, who also worked on the band’s 2023 debut album, “Gem”. Recording took place at Daniele Onori’s AMM, Monteggiori Studio, in the hills of Tuscany, while Stecconi handled mixing and mastering at Triple Sun in Rome.

‘Inhabit’ emerged from a prolonged and intense search built around a guitar loop and a mystical vocal melody. BOSCO SACRO describe the track as an exploration of humanity’s tendency toward attachment and an invitation to dissolve into the present moment.

This approach also finds its counterpart in the album’s artwork. Created by Italian artist Roberta Busato, the raw clay sculpture “Testa di Terra” (Head of Earth) depicts a closed-eyed figure representing a state of meditation. The limited edition takes the concept further through a layered cover design, with four differently colored inner inserts that can be rotated, giving each copy a slightly different appearance.

“Inhabit” will be released on LP, CD, as a limited-edition LP + CD bundle, and in digital formats. Preorders, merchandise, and presaves are already available.

The album will feature eight tracks: ‘Inhabit’, ‘Gift From The Fog’, ‘Silence Dances’, ‘Desert Of Sense’, ‘Vertigo’, ‘Dong-Dee’, ‘Trickster’, and ‘The Future Past’.

BOSCO SACRO will also continue their live activities around the album, with two dates currently confirmed. The band will perform at Das Lot in Vienna on December 3 and at the Church of St. John of Nepomuk in Hradec Králové, Czech Republic, on December 4.

With “Inhabit”, BOSCO SACRO bring material developed through live composition into the studio, expanding the band’s ambient and doom-based approach with textures drawn from trip-hop and dreamgaze.
