The split mini-album “Invoking the Noumenon / Crushing the Feeble Messianic Embrace”, featuring three new tracks each from Greek black/death metal band EMBRACE OF THORNS and Chilean act INVOCATION, is now streaming on the Death Metal Promotion YouTube channel ahead of its international release. The six-track, 22-minute release is due out on October 30 through Iron Bonehead Productions on CD and 12-inch vinyl.

EMBRACE OF THORNS continue to pursue the blackened, bestial death metal approach they have honed over nearly 30 years, contributing two new tracks to the split. The release marks the band’s first recorded work since their 2022 album “Entropy Dynamics” and reunites them with Iron Bonehead Productions. A brief, subdued outro bridges the two sides.

Following their 2024 debut album “The Archaic Sanctuary (Ritual Body Postures)”, INVOCATION return with three tracks of their own. The Chilean band’s new recordings combine the fast, hard-hitting passages of black/death metal with a dark atmosphere.
