German heavy metal band MYSTIC PROPHECY have released a music video for their new single ‘Angels Are Falling’, which clocks in at 240 BPM. The track arrives ahead of their upcoming album “In Metal”, due out on November 27, 2026, via PERCEPTION – Powered by Reigning Phoenix Music.

According to the band, ‘Angels Are Falling’ is the fastest song they have written to date. Built around imagery of heaven and hell, the track combines MYSTIC PROPHECY’s heavy/power metal sound with a darker theme. Its lyrics address how the Church uses the fear of hell as an effective means of keeping people in check, as well as the struggle between good and evil.

Following the singles ‘Robots’ and ‘March Or Die’, ‘Angels Are Falling’ is the third track from “In Metal” to be released. The ten-track album aims to maintain the band’s traditional heavy metal approach while giving it a modern production treatment.

The album was produced by guitarist Dan Baune and vocalist R.D. Liapakis, with mixing and mastering handled by Henrik Udd.

“In Metal” also marks the first album to feature three new additions to the band’s lineup. Tommy Gun takes over on bass, while Dan Baune, known for his work with NWOBHM band Monument, handles guitar duties, and Christophe de Combe of Belgian metallers FireForce plays drums. The lineup is completed by vocalist R.D. Liapakis and guitarist Markus Pohl.

MYSTIC PROPHECY will hit the road in the final months of 2026 in support of the new album. The tour will include dates in Germany and Belgium, with IRON SAVIOR and GENERATION STEEL joining as special guests. “In Metal” is due out on November 27.
