French Celtic Black Metal band FIR BOLG have released ‘Vae Victis’, the second single from their upcoming album “Triskelion”, due out on November 27, 2026, via Schwarzdorn Production. The track is accompanied by an official lyric video.

Comprising 13 tracks, “Triskelion” draws on Celtic mythology, pagan traditions and forgotten rituals. On the new album, FIR BOLG combine the dark character of their earlier Black Metal material with a more organic, ritualistic approach. Alongside guitars, the record features bouzouki, traditional percussion and varied rhythmic textures, bringing traditional instrumentation further to the forefront of the band's sound.

Following the previously released ‘Drunemeton’, ‘Vae Victis’ serves as the second preview of the upcoming album. “Triskelion” was recorded at Drak'hard Studio in spring 2025. FIR BOLG handled production, while David Argi took care of recording and mixing, with Damien Rainaud responsible for mastering.

Founded by Dagoth in Nice, France, in 2006, FIR BOLG released their debut demo, “Paganism”, in 2008. Schwarzdorn Production reissued it in 2010. The band's first full-length album, “Towards Ancestral Lands”, followed in 2013, further establishing their approach of combining Black Metal with traditional instrumentation and tribal elements.

Recorded by the lineup of Dagoth (vocals, guitar, bouzouki), Abaddon (drums) and Femto (bass), “Triskelion” will be released on November 27 in digital, CD and LP formats.

The 13-track album features ‘Vae Victis’ and ‘Drunemeton’, alongside titles with historical and mythological associations, including ‘Famine 536’, ‘Mog Ruith’ and ‘Dowth Passage Tomb’.
