PERPETUA Release New EP “Saviour To None”
PERPETUA confront regret through metal
Scotland’s PERPETUA have released their new four-track EP, “Saviour To None”, via Bleeding Art Collective. To coincide with its release, the band have also unveiled a visualizer for the track ‘Descend’.
The new material brings together a modern metal approach built around groove-driven riffs, thrash passages and melodic choruses. PERPETUA cite PANTERA, MACHINE HEAD and SEPULTURA, alongside DECAPITATED, SYLOSIS, PSYCROPTIC and LAMB OF GOD, as influences that have helped shape their sound.
One of the EP’s standout tracks, ‘Descend’, explores the inevitability of endings and the weight of regret. The band explain the idea behind the song:
“‘Descend’ is about how all things come to an end and those undeniable truths being buried away behind the chaotic world we live in. We wanted to have an impactful anthem that speaks to everyone about reclaiming ourselves in the present and to live without regret. Nothing hurts like regret.”
Recording duties for the four tracks on “Saviour To None” were divided between the band and the recording team. Andy Dickson handled guitar and vocal recordings, while Stephen Dewar recorded the bass. Drums were recorded by Mark Tindal at DM Studios, with Tindal also taking care of the EP’s mixing and mastering at Open Eyes Productions.
Based in Edinburgh, PERPETUA signed with Bleeding Art Collective in late 2025. Following their win in the Best Metal Act category at the Scottish Alternative Music Awards, the band went on to headline a series of UK tours. They have also shared stages with DECAPITATED, SKINDRED, BLEED FROM WITHIN and ATTILA, and performed as support for EMPLOYED TO SERVE, CAGE FIGHT and CRYPTA at the start of 2026. An appearance alongside THE HAUNTED is scheduled for October.
“Saviour To None” is out now via Bleeding Art Collective. The EP is available to stream on Spotify, with an Apple Music release also available.
