German melodic black metal band SERVANT have released ‘Glorification’, the latest single from their fourth studio album, “Lux Ex Inferis”. Set for release on October 2 via AOP Records, ‘Glorification’ is the second track unveiled from the album and offers another glimpse into the band’s new era.

SERVANT’s discography began with 2021’s “Blessed by the Light of a Thousand Stars”, followed by 2023’s “Aetas Ascensus” and “Death Devil Magick”, released through AOP Records in 2024. Particularly following their third album, the band expanded their live activities with shows across Germany as well as Western and Eastern Europe, making “Lux Ex Inferis” a continuation of that progression.

While retaining SERVANT’s melodic black metal foundation, the new album is built around a broader and more layered approach. According to the band, “Lux Ex Inferis” brings together epic structures and haunting melodies, balancing intensity and atmosphere within the same musical framework.

Previously released single ‘Tabula Rasa’ also features one of the more notable collaborations of this new era. P.G. of GROZA contributes guest vocals to the track, adding a different shade to SERVANT’s vocal approach on the new album while also highlighting the band’s ties to the surrounding black metal scene.

‘Glorification’ and the previously released ‘Tabula Rasa’ are the two tracks unveiled so far from “Lux Ex Inferis”, which will feature nine songs in total. The album will also include ‘In Noctem’, ‘Thanatos, Embrace of the Night’, ‘De Profundis’, ‘Lux Fulget’, ‘Of Stones, Sleep and Death’, ‘The Accuser’, and ‘Hypnos I See You’.
