STEELFEST XV, set to take place in Finland from May 13–15, 2027, continues to expand its lineup with new additions announced as part of its 15th-anniversary celebration. The organisers have confirmed that five more bands will be joining the festival.

The organisers initially planned a lineup of approximately 40 bands for the three-day event, but say that this target has already been exceeded, with further negotiations still underway for additional acts. The five new names shared with mailing list subscribers ahead of the official public announcement are BARATHRUM, HELL MILITIA, HAIL CONJURER, PENSÉES NOCTURNES and THE CHAMBERLAIN. The other four bands' names appear in the images accompanying the announcement.

The current STEELFEST XV lineup already includes names such as ABRUPTUM, DØDHEIMSGARD, ARCHGOAT, MYSTIFIER, HORNA, INFERNAL WAR, SARGEIST, KRODA, SETH, NYOGTHHAEBLISZ, OSCULUM INFAME, ACHERONTAS, NORDJEVEL, WINTERFYLLETH and GRAVE MIASMA.

Several special performances are also among the festival's highlights. DØDHEIMSGARD will deliver an exclusive festival set focusing on the 1995–1999 era, featuring material from "Kronet Til Konge", "Monumental Possession", "Satanic Art" and "666 International". OSCULUM INFAME will celebrate the 30th anniversary of their debut album "Dor-nu-Fauglith" with a special performance featuring guest musicians. ACHERONTAS will also present their special "And Cosmos from Ashes to Dust...." performance at STEELFEST XV.

Other notable announcements include GRIEVE's first and final performance, which will take place exclusively at this event, and KRODA's "GinnungaGap GinnungaGaldr GinnungaKaos" set. SAOR will also appear on the bill with a special performance titled "Roots & Aura".

As for accommodation, the organisers report that spaces at SteelStay, located on the festival grounds, are filling up, with a total capacity of 130 guests. Hotel packages at Kiljava Resort are reportedly almost sold out, while the campsite is approximately a five-minute walk from the festival entrance. Toilets, showers and 24-hour security will be available at the campsite.

STEELFEST XV will take place in Hyvinkää, Finland, from May 13–15, 2027. Further lineup announcements are expected in the coming period.
